Why Free Can Cost You Time and Money

It drives me nuts when there is money to be made and people just never seem to pick up on it!

You have to spend money to make money. And the beautiful part of it all is you don’t have to spend a lot of money to make money… far from it!

There’s a reason so many of your free-to-join programs that you’ve gotten yourself into go no where. Maybe you had the sense to test the waters and upgrade, or just jump in with both feet and get the ball rolling. However, what typically happens when something is free to join is your downline becomes clogged with people who take the time to fill out a form, then never take the time to log in and see what’s what.

You spin your wheels using up your own time and money because you see and experience the beauty of it (some are smart and upgrade), but the rest just forget you even exist. It’s a crying shame, but that’s the truth.

I know this from past experience (over and over) over the course of 10 years+. So rarely do I sign up for anything that is based on its ability to grow yet has a free entry level.

BUT… once in a blue moon… I come across the perfect exception to the rule:

Pyrabang is one of my exceptions. I did “Go Gold” right off the bat (it was a whopping $5.95 plus a one time $10). The $5.95 is recurring, but that’s it. In fact, at this very moment, I have more than enough to cover next month’s fees when Paypal does its thing.

The Gold Member benefits are awesome. And each time PyraBang gets an “orphaned” sponsee that person goes to a Gold Member (by rotation). All you need for a spot in this rotation is just one gold sponsee.

The crowd at Pyrabang varies widely:

o Some use it as an advertising tool (read on it’s important)

o Some use it as a platform to express themselves individually

o Others keep the public informed on government, entertainment, etc.

The beauty of Pyrabang is that you can make money from posting (just about) anything!

Here’s some information I found today (keep in mind that a “bang” is a “credit” from your account, they just have cuter names for typical stuff). I’ve also made some grammatical changes to it (sorry can’t help myself). But basically it is the same, and it’s called “Pyrabang Strategy For Newbies!”

How Do You Increase Your Profit Using Pyrabang?

The first thing you want to do is invest in either someone else’s post or your own. If you are posting your own news item or video link, start with 10 bangs which will allow room for new investors. If you are investing in other people’s post, look for [an] interesting post under ‘Gold Member Recent Post’ with around 30 views and 150 bangs or less.

The next step is to hyperlink your newly invested post and start promoting. As your post starts getting more views, it will raise some interest from other members thus creating a bidding war for your post and each time someone invests in your post, your profit increases.

The best place to promote your hyperlinked post is thru traffic exchange programs because it will be viewed by real eyeballs. The other place to advertise is thru safelist programs.

Since Google doesn’t like their adsense program being advertised in traffic exchange, please don’t promote any hyperlinked post that has adsense ads in it ok. You don’t even have to spend additional cash because you can join most of these services for free.

If you spend only 30 minutes to an hour everyday promoting your link, the number of views for your post will steadily increase and so does your profit.

The part above about promoting your url means promoting the PYRABANG url not the original post or news item or whatever – your own personal Pyrabang url to the information. Remember its the growth of the Pyrabang url that has the potential to make you money (not the original).

In addition, the folks at Pyrabang will tell you that “the best way to work PyraBang is to treat your portfolio like your own independent media channel because you are becoming the media! PyraBang now has an audience of over 1,000,000 eyeballs daily!”

As this program grows, they plan on adding audio and video, too! At its current state, you post words/text. There is a vast array of categories to choose from, but the best advice to follow is to treat your “media network” by following the 80/20 rule when you post. As I read on the Shout this morning, “a good TV show has about 80% entertainment or news and only 20% commercials.”

That’s their goal at least.

This is the beauty of using the Pyrabang system. You can rant, rave, inform, help, and market – all in a combination of balance and beauty and make money doing it!

And, they do have sponsor trainings via live chat, or use the shoutbox right on the front page to get help or just shoot the breeze. When you log in, you also have access to your group (in addition to the support outside your group).

They are also “going to be focusing on ONE on ONE sponsoring… then working with that person directly… over the phone… to get them started.”

Since I’m already using the service/system, I’m making money. Do I agree with every voice and every opinion and every bang (post) I see… no. But that’s the beauty of Pyrabang – giving you your right to freedom of speech.

And making money having that freedom (doesn’t hurt LOL!).

So yes, you can join for free. BUT, for that mere $5.95/month (plus the one time $10 “fast start” fee) you can turn your voice and freedom of expression into some real, cold hard cash.

I don’t know about you, but having the right to express myself, get views, votes, and income for a measly $5.95 a month sounds pretty good. How about you?

SPECIAL NOTE: Look to your right… there’s the Pyrabang display. You do not need a website or a blog to become a member, and your words, thoughts, rants, raves, products, and promotions will still display on other people’s websites and blogs.

I agree that you have to spend money to make money when you’re investing in YOURSELF, but I just don’t think a lot of the programs out there asking for an initial investment are legit.

I hope this continues to work well for you.

Well, you don’t *have* to spend money to make money. I make fine money off free programs and many fee-charging programs are rip offs. It is a horses for courses thing :)

Hi V! You are right, but many coming to My Wizard Ads have programs and products more along the “affiliate marketing” direction. These types of programs often offer a free entry level which is nice, but the whole idea is missed by just about everyone. If you do not upgrade, and those under you also upgrade – free stays free – and nobody makes a dime.

I agree with Corrin. I’ve always been wary of programs that ask you to pay when you sign up.
