Other Get Paid Ways to Make Money Online

I know that a majority of individuals join affiliate programs. I did it, and still do (I’m very picky), and like everyone else, you do the best you can and hope for the best.

However, that doesn’t mean you cannot step (perhaps) outside your comfort zone and try new things, new methods.

One of the easiest ways to make money online, as I’ve stated before and over on the Online Internet Marketing Strategies blog are the “get paid to” resources.

Today I present a new one I just signed up for myself. It has more flexibility than eHow (eHow is good) and since eHow joined forces with Demand Studio, and there are still restrictions on writing strictly “how to” articles/steps, this new resource may be a better choice for more people.

get paid to write articles, submit videos, broadcast your audio, share your slides

When you signup, you “open another door” to enhance your ability to get paid for “publishing your knowledge”.

If articles are your thing, great! If you’re more a video person, super! Like to put together slide show presentations, that works, too! Lots of flexibility in this program from what I’m seeing (and again let me stress while the program is not new (keep reading on the stats), it is “new” to me).

I’m positive your next question will be how much and how soon. Both go hand-in-hand, since the system is very simple. The more unique visitors to your work, the more money you make. Currently, their system is set to work on 1,000 unique (in a 24 hour period) showings nets approximately $4 (that’s their current example, so don’t hold me to that number).

You can choose to retain the rights to your work – meaning distribute it in other areas, too – or just make it available at their website. If you choose the “allow distribution” or choose to post whatever you’ve created somewhere else, changing it up a tad, making it a little different (think verbs and nouns) is advisable, but not necessary.

So, say for instance you’ve done a cool video. You post it on their site, and then choose to go to YouTube or Flickr, too. No problem. However, this website will pay you for the showings whereas the “rewards” on say YouTube (assuming you’ve matched it up with your Google accounts and are going for adsense) may be minimal. But still, the choice is yours to make.

Will you get rich? Do I even need to answer that question? I will anyway because I’m sure you’re wondering in the back of your mind. The answer is two-fold: 1) if you can publish enough material (you are allowed up to 25 per day) and 2) you get your friends and family involved, and they get their friends and family involved, and you put it out there via say Stumbleupon, then you’ve got a decent shot at paying the water bill.

Or… maybe more.

Like everything online, you cannot sit back and think the world owes you money without putting effort into whatever it is you choose to do. However, why leave value resources on the table?

Also their Alexa rank (as iffy as that may be, it is an indicator) rocks at 4,592. Remember the closer you get to zero in Alexa the more popular. Very few other sites rank this well other than Google itself or another major search engine or something like The New York Times.

So they are getting plenty of traffic. It’s your job to create interesting material, in whatever style you choose, and get it up and posted.

I know – because we’re going through it, too – that the economy hit lots of people very hard. Don’t turn your back on investigating this get paid to money making option.

Like change found around the house, you know that small amounts add up quickly if you’re willing to put forth the effort.
