What To Market

do you have questions on what to marketIt’s Sunday and for the first time in a long time I’ve taken almost an entire weekend off – I say almost because one of the things I have done is added a what to market page to the main web site of MyWizardAds. I thought long and hard about this, but the one factor I kept coming back to is people often ask me what I’d doing online.

How To Choose What To Market

The fact is I spend a majority of my time handling my ezine advertising business; add to that the network of Whole Hog Blogs and that pretty much keeps me busy. When it comes to making decisions on what to market, I can honestly say that it’s been quite a while since I’ve found anything worthwhile. That’s not to say there isn’t a ton of stuff out there, we all know that’s true, but I generally like to select things I have a need for or things I will use myself.

That’s my suggestion and advice for you, too. When it comes to answering your own personal question, “What to market?” why not step outside what everyone else is doing and be selective.

My Choices on What to Market

I’m not going to do a whole run down in this post on the “what to market” items I’ve chosen when I asked myself the same question. Instead, and because it is Sunday, referring you to the fully explained page on the website itself is the best option for both you and me. I’ve written an in-depth explanation on why I choose these particular what to market items.

What you will find are actually three promising what to market options and two out of three are free. The third just makes tremendous sense from a personal and business point of view, yet note the extremely (less than $10) small get-started fee involved.

It all comes down to choosing the right things you are most comfortable with versus following the crowd. When you follow the crowd, well… it’s crowded. Never forget that when you find something “popular” that popularity can play a huge role in terms of your success marketing it. Too popular and you’re fighting all the vast amounts of individuals also marketing the same thing. Your competition for “see me!” space can be hindered by all the others out there who most likely got there first. You’ll need to spend extra time and a lot of attention thinking outside the box just to beat out your fellow affiliates.

The internet isn’t going anywhere. Take your time as you make your decision on what to market.

Great Advice Theresa… I have been on your list for a while now and though I don’t read every time you post…I must say when I do your advice is straight to the point and you shoot from the hip. Thanks for taking the time to post this.

Thanks Michael, it’s easier to do what you love and succeed when you pick things that resonant with your own ideas, thoughts, beliefs! Too many people stick like glue to the traditional internet marketing model, when they would be much more successful telling others about products “near and dear” to their own hearts (and it’s a whole lot easier to explain LOL!).

  3. Follow your passion and you will surely succeed.

  11. Nice and to the point. The following sentences jumped at me:

“It all comes down to choosing the right things you are most comfortable with versus following the crowd. When you follow the crowd, well… it’s crowded. Never forget that when you find something “popular” that popularity can play a huge role in terms of your success marketing it.

    So true!

Each of every one of us deliver messages uniquely that brings our unique brilliance. Learn, get comfortable and get good at one method of marketing and then move to the next.

Hi Wendell! I don’t find anything wrong with what you call “high dollar” products – assuming a person finds the right and most useful as I’m certain you’ve done your homework.

I was merely listing off some truly affordable (and necessity driven) potentials 🙂
