The past few weeks have been extremely fun and busy at My Wizard Ads, so this is a bit late in coming. However, I’m only going to leave you with a tantalizing bit of “news.”

There is an exciting new service that I will be lucky enough to preview (should be this evening). Of course, I will do my own due diligence to ensure it is a service that will deliver.

This new service (has the potential) for everyone to use (and is much needed) – from the website or blog owner to the affiliate marketer.

Keep your fingers crossed because even sight unseen, I’m excited! We shall see soon!

According to studies run by the folks over at Getresponse (an autoresponder I use myself), sending personalized emails has its up side and its down side.

They analyzed over 53,000 of their own messages sent out to their massive list over a three month time period (September to December 2009). Evidence appeared to suggest – at first glance – that personalizing the subject line was the way to go.

However, upon further inspection (really digging down into their tracking) they discovered what most internet marketers would call “alarming” information.

One of the key components to your success online will be setting a budget to advertise. Many people actually forget, in their rush to sign up for, or create a program or product, that once that stage is complete, it will take money to promote. With so many potential possibilities and arenas for online advertising, reading this hopefully before you select your “home business” will be beneficial. Too many individuals can quickly find themselves in over their heads and/or out of money.

And, before we get started, do keep in mind one thing. The program – be it a team effort or individual product – must be advertised. Even the affiliate program that claims “no this, that or the next thing” is going to go nowhere fast if you do not allot x amount of money to promote it yourself. It’s unfortunate, but the truth.

For those new to reading this blog, you most likely have not visited the main ezine advertising website lately. However, this weekend there is a “dimesale” running.

The product this weekend will help you finally understand how the “big boys” (and “girls”) using Twitter to their advantage.

Yes, there’s tons of information on Twitter available, but pulled together in a resource that is less than $6 at the moment, you cannot go wrong. The price does go up 5 cents every 120 minutes and last through about Tuesday morning.

So go check out the Weekend Dimesale and the other marketing tools and internet marketing resources while you’re there. And, don’t forget, that ezine publications are a great way to use permission-based lists of other people to spread the word (legally) about your own products, etc.

I owe a huge thank you to everyone who visits regularly, and comments often, on this blog! It’s been a chore trying to reconstruct (I won’t bore you with the details, you can read the comments of the previous post for that), and I think I’ve run almost to the end of being able to put it all back together again.
